Wild Honey
No place like home

Tested it out in hopes of looking for a more centralised place which serves all day breakfast.
Verdict: Hatched @Evans Lodge wins hands down.
At Wild Honey, you are required to place your order before seating, an approach not widely practised by cafes here. I'm not sure if they even have menus' available. The only menu i noticed at the place was the usually listing of all items on chalk boards. The menu can get rather overwhelming if its your first time there and worse if you have no idea on what you're looking forward to have. They're calling themselves a place like home (i'm sure you're not pressurized to place your order for your meal at home).
Next is seating, do note that if you're intending to get a table under the lamps hanging down from the ceiling, you should be prepared to have lights GLARING into your eyes. X.X
My main purpose of trying the place out was for pancakes! The pancakes (Dish name: Canadian) were so disappointing, i shall save my words on it. The dish came with 3 rather thick pancakes, whereby you could hardly taste the butter used to cook it, some bacon, maple syrup and blueberry syrup. Pancakes like those they served can be dished up at my place too by moi! Just head down to my place instead. Do note: I hardly cook.
The other dish tried was called California, consisted of french toast, organic tofu, egg, green pepper, and perhaps more. Not something that's worth locating the shop, enduring the glaring lights, and the LACK OF SERVICE.
Something you should note to avoid would be their Iced chocolate drink, it was absolute crap, tasting like chocolate powder, water and ice. =S Having a chocoholic boyfriend definitely does alter the way you determine quality chocolate drinks.
The last item we ordered was a cup of Orange juice, freshly squeezed, but hardly enough to save the terrible image the of the place already.
The problem with having to order and paying first is that it aides the development of the lack of service. Service staff were busy chatting away when there were no new customers walking into the shop. It didn't help that i chose to sit in a corner to avoid the bright glaring lights. Trying to grab their attention for service was a challenge.
In total:
Canadian
California
Orange juice
Iced Chocolate
Total damage: $50.00 after gst and service tax $58. xx.
Until now, i'm still cringing at the receipt of that terrible meal. >:l
If you're thinking of getting the best of both worlds by ordering a set meal or something along those lines, do note that there is no such item available there.
Disclaimer: Please understand that the above is a review of items in my point of view and that dishes ordered were NOT their best sellers merely basics of a breakfast.

As of recent i've been having this insane urge to cook. Occurs like within the day and i usually land up cooking something (successful or not is another issue).
Crepe making today was a failure. =x
Burnt. Looked way over tanned on one side and white like tofu on the other side.
Must control fire better.
Instructions on the box didn't help with it all printed in Japanese.
Ginger tea
I've been craving this for the longest time. Googled it. Started boiling the tea at 2230 (talk about insane urges).
After attempting the recipie, sitting now on the kitchen table is an entire bottle of Ginger tea. oh man!! >.<"
Though i did have fun grating the ginger ((:

I've forgotten how to lead life without
him.
Whatever you're thinking of
it's impossible.
No regrets.
it's impossible.
No regrets.
There are always times whereby you can't help but wonder
why him?
of all people why did he catch you attention?
what is it of him that captivates you?
then there comes the devotion.
how is it he managed to evoke such immense levels?
Its probably just me.
I wonder what would make the days pass faster?
But ultimately it will always be worth the wait.
He never fails.
Never.

A trip to Hong Kong plus a Trip to Taiwan = almost 900 photos.
Close to 3 hours of slotting photos into photo albums.
We need to set a quota for how many photos each person can take from now on. RESTRICTION!
The amusing thing about it was that in each trip my mother was constantly asking us why we took so little photos.
oh my! I can't imagine if we took any more.
